REF - 833 - QA Software Engineer

The Project:

The primary project is the Patient Portal, which is how cancer patients who attend our Oncology clinics interact with their clinic.

Role and Tasks:

This position would be a good opportunity for a functional tester who has a good analytic capability or some coding experience who wishes to level up their skills

● An individual contributor who works as a member of a Scrum team
● Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
● Identify, record, document thoroughly and track defects
● Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
● Design, develop, maintain, execute and troubleshoot automated tests using the low-code platform AccelQ
● Review automated testing results and monitoring to identify defects
● Active participation in problem-solving efforts
● Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
● Track quality assurance metrics for supported products (defects, escapes, incident counts, etc.)
● Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Essential experience and skills:
● The top level of English
● Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
● Demonstrated understanding of the software development lifecycle
● Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
● Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
● Demonstrated initiative and ability to function independently
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills collaborating effectively with both engineering and product teams
● Demonstrated knowledge of the Page Object Model
● Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
● Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
● Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices is a plus
● Understanding of either Relational or Document database types a plus
● Proven ability to automate web tests in at least one framework a plus

Nice To Have skills:
● Experience with AccelQ
● Experience with an automated test framework

Location:
Work remotely from anywhere in LATAM.

Duration and conditions:
● Long Term - Full Time.
