We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join a high-performing U.S.-based engineering team for an 8-month project, focused on the validation and quality assurance of backend APIs. This is a remote opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, communicates effectively in English, and has strong experience in API testing and automation.
🔍 About the Role:
You'll play a key role in supporting the development of an API Gateway, working closely with a backend team using Ruby on Rails. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in designing test plans and test cases, executing manual and automated API tests, and ensuring high-quality delivery in a collaborative, agile setup.

• Duration: 8 months
• Start Date: Late March
• Location: 100% Remote in LATAM
• Client Team: U.S.-based
• Project: Building and testing an API
• Gateway (Ruby on Rails backend)
• Focus: Server-side/API validation (no frontend testing involved)
• Tools: AccelQ for API testing (prior experience not mandatory)
• Language: Strong English communication skills required
• Interview Process: Two interviews – technical team + Director of Engineering (no technical test)
